C A Bhavani Devi is the first woman in India to qualify for fencing and compete at the Tokyo Olympic Games. In 2017,  Bhavani became the first-ever Indian fencer to win a Gold medal at a Satellite Grade tournament .

Navjot founded the Washing Machine Project which provides displaced and low income communities with an accessible, off-grid washing solution by empowering women to take charge of their lives. Their particular focus is on reaching; refugees, displaced people, homeless and low-income families.

 

Since its creation, the Project has reached 6 counties positively impacting lives of 30,000 and this year is expected to impact lives in 6 other countries and help 100,000 individuals. Other manual washing machines are not great for washing large volumes or heavy clothing regularly leading to outbreaks of skin diseases in refugee settings. Sustainability is a critical factor from design to delivery given that the Project works in areas hardest hit by Climate Change like Middle East and Africa where water availability is scarce.

Since its creation, The Washing Machine Project has positively impacted the lives of people from refugees in Iraq, Lebanon and Poland to, children in Uganda, homeless people on the streets of Fort Worth Texas, and disabled people in Kiribati.

Ashok and Dheeraj have founded several market beating substantial businesses over the last 20 years. These include: BluPace Technologies, Cakes & Bakes, WOW Party, HyderabadWala and BioSustain. These businesses are engaged in software solutions and digital transformation services, high street vegan bakery stores, high-quality party supplies to businesses, restaurants, sustainable & alternative sources of protein. Plans are underway to open restaurants overseas. 

Daniel Co-Founded PUBLIC,  a leading European technology firm with offices in the UK and Germany. PUBLIC is a ‘policy-to-product’ business.  Daniel was most recently Deputy Head of Policy at No.10 Downing Street and Special Advisor to the UK Prime Minister.
